The active ingredient is composed of tartaric acid extracted from grape fruit, apple extract, lemon extract, citric acid, enzymatically bioliquefied red grape peel, and enzymatically bioliquefied wheat bran. All these ingredients help revitalize the skin. It contains AHAs, which help exfoliate without being too aggressive and further accelerate skin renewal, leaving skin radiant and smooth. In vivo tests demonstrate that the active ingredient is highly effective in promoting skin renewal. In vivo tests have shown that within three days, the treated areas showed a 55% skin renewal rate, and within six days, the figure rose to 83%. In vitro tests, however, have shown that it is much more tolerable than other AHAs such as glycolic and mandelic acid and is also safe in terms of photoirritation. The complex is also rich in natural phenolic antioxidants, which are very useful for protecting the skin from free radicals and ultimately helping prevent loss of skin tone and the formation of expression lines.

A precious active ingredient consisting of an aromatic resin extracted from the bark of a tree that grows on the Greek island of Chios. The active ingredient helps tighten enlarged pores and purify the skin. Specifically, in vitro studies have demonstrated its ability to inhibit the activity of 5α-reductase I and reduce the skin's inflammatory reaction. Clinical studies conducted on twenty Caucasian and Asian female volunteers have demonstrated that the active ingredient helps tighten enlarged pores, refine skin texture, reduce imperfections such as blackheads, and ultimately improve skin hydration. Results showed that pores were significantly refined by over 8% after 14 days and by almost 15% after 28 days.

Salicylic acid is an organic acid (a beta-hydroxy acid), the active ingredient extracted from certain botanical species, particularly meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria) and willow bark (Salix L.). It has keratolytic properties, meaning it simply removes the outermost layer of the skin, consisting of dead cells. A true peeling effect, therefore, that incredibly renews the skin, making it brighter and healthier. The positive side effect is that salicylic acid only removes the outer keratinized layer, so it doesn't reach the deeper layers of the dermis. It also has soothing and sebum-balancing properties.

Niacinamide, also known as nicotinamide (or vitamin PP or B3), is chemically the amide of nicotinic acid.
