Vitamin C
Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate is a stable form of vitamin C, it is enzymatically cleaved in the skin and releases active vitamin C, it is therefore an effective antioxidant that protects cells from damage caused by free radicals.
It fights skin aging by promoting collagen formation.
It also acts on the melanin formation process, preventing hyperpigmentation, and therefore has lightening and illuminating properties.
Evening Primrose Oil
This is an oil extracted from the seeds of the evening primrose plant, native to North America, also known as "evening primrose" or "evening primrose." Its scientific name is Oenothera biennis and it belongs to the Myrtifloraceae family. Evening primrose or night primrose opens its buds at night and releases its delightful scent. When the flowers die, they leave behind dark seeds, which yield an oil with healing properties. It is very rich in essential fatty acids, especially oleic acid, linoleic acid, alpha-linoleic acid, beta-linoleic acid, and gamma-linoleic acid, which have significant biological value. It also contains amino acids, vitamin C, fiber, and numerous minerals, including potassium, magnesium, manganese, iron, and calcium. The soothing properties of evening primrose oil make it useful for treating some irritated skin problems, and it also has anti-aging and elasticizing effects.
Ferulic Acid
Due to its natural whitening and exfoliating action, the acid is used to help eliminate dark spots on the skin, often caused by excessive exposure to the sun.
It has notable antioxidant properties which make it particularly useful in the formulation of anti-aging cosmetic products
